Recently out-of-the-closet Ricky Martin is a smoker, or has smoked in real life. There is an article entitled Ricky Martin Quits Smoking, dated August 13, 2009. However, we are not sure about the source’s credibility as its citation goes only as far as “has reportedly quit…”
I should make sense though, as some of the last photos of him seen smoking came from Just Jared, from a post dated January 16, 2009. Below is a photo from said post.
Below are some more photos of him smoking. Man, if these were taken before he outed himself, someone should have already taken the hint—he is always seen with a dude (wearing skimpy swimwear!).
Bruce Willis smoked a lot of cigarettes as John McClane in the Die Hard movies. In real life, well, below tells something about his attitude towards smoking but cannot stand as irrefutable evidence. However, said excerpt below proves he has a positive attitude towards being an influence to would-be smokers.
Quoted from AskMen.com
“It’s just a nasty habit. I didn’t want to feel responsible for any kid smoking to try to look cool because he thought I looked cool doing it.”
There. He refused to quit in Live Free or Die Hard.
Below is a photo of John McClane smoking.
Below is a photo of Bruce Willis smoking in the movie The Fifth Element.
Hey what do you know, a royal smoker. Prince Harry Windsor, Prince of Wales, who is now 26 years old, is a smoker in real life. It should not come as a surprise though, as he had a reputation back then for being a “wild child.”
Check this out (from Wikipedia):
He was found at age 17 smoking cannabis and partaking in under-age drinking with his friends, would clash physically with paparazzi outside nightclubs, and was photographed at Highgrove House at a “Colonial and Native” themed costume party wearing a German Afrika Korps uniform with a swastika armband.
But hey, we’re only concerned about cigarettes, so I guess if he can smoke pot, why not regular cancer sticks, right?
Pretty boy Chace Crawford who plays good boy Nate Archibald in Gossip Girl is a smoker in real life. Alright, I do not know much about this guy, we were just tipped, but below is a photo and a fan video. So there, caught on camera—stills and moving—but by the looks of it he’s not a closet smoker.
Hot Ali who started her career, I think, from some Final Destination movie, is a smoker in real life. Aside from that, she has also smoked in a number of movies including Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, and 3-Way.
But now, for the first time here in Celebrity Smokers, a real life video clip of Ali smoking. Ah, the wonder of YouTube. It’s funny, most of the commenters from the video find her sexy smoking. What do you think?
And then here’s a photo of her holding a cigarette while kissing some dude. Can someone tell me who that lucky bastard is?
Well, yes, there are a lot of supermodels who smoke, and Victoria’s Secret Angel Adriana Lima is definitely one of theme. Isn’t is such a cliche that the uber-thin, unhealthy models are those who smoke?
Although I wouldn’t call Adriana uber-thin.
So anyway, below is a photo of Brazilian Lima smoking (and without makeup at that) somewhere on-location.
Lea Michele, star of the very successful and unique television series, Glee, has been caught smoking. Surprise, surprise. It seems that all starlets of today smoke, has smoked, or will smoke. And the buzz is huge when young actresses are concerned, because they are considered role models.
Imagine your “Gleek” 13-year old looking up to the likes of Lea, seeing her dragging away. Of course it will only turn out to look cool.
However, good thing there is only one photo of her caught doing the deed. But it is her, even though she is not looking at the camera. She is even with her Glee co-stars Dianna Agron and Cory Monteith in the photo. Said photo seen below.
John Travolta has been in dozens of films, and his characters have smokedin some—case in point, 1997′s She’s So Lovely. In real life, we’ve yet to find a candid photo. However, he has been featured in Cigar Aficionado magazine. So cigars, definitely. Cigarettes, can’t really say for sure. Here’s a quote from the feature.
“Cigarettes made everything festive. My mom smoked and my sister smoked. So smoking meant show business and travel. My father smoked cigars his whole life….”
A quote on cigars.
“I smoke about five cigars a week, but I wouldn’t call myself a connoisseur. I like Davidoffs, Dunhills and Montecristos. I like to smoke at the end of the day, usually out on the terrace with a cup of espresso. Kelly will often join me; she enjoys a small cigar.”
Now that LOST is finally over, let’s check if some of its stars smoke in real life.
Ah, Josh Holloway.
In Lost he does smoke, and unfortunately, the only photo evidence of him we have is just a screen capture (and he’s just holding a pack). However, we have written proof. See the quotes below and links to the actual interviews.
Any summer plans?
We’re doing major remodeling at our house so we’re going to take off and go on a road trip in a big RV. And I’m going to try to quit smoking again.
Didn’t you just try quitting?
I did. I fell off the wagon in a big way. I had the nicotine patch, tea tree oil toothpicks, gum. But I’m going to give it another shot. I love to smoke, but I love to breathe more.
So, we therefore conclude that Josh Holloway is a real life smoker who at one point tried quitting but was unsuccessful. Currently, we still can’t tell.
